Through fieldwork in Papua New Guinea and Kenya, I expanded my research on the sociocultural functions of image-making. I’ve contributed to international research initiatives, including TPAAE (Transcultural Perspectives in Art and Art Education), and have developed exhibitions across various contexts, from institutional spaces to experimental platforms.
Since 2024, I’ve been based in Basel (CH), where I’m actively involved in the local art scene. As part of Artstübli Kunst & Kultur, I lead curatorial programs that engage with the political, social, and philosophical dimensions of art.
My curatorial approach is shaped by both academic inquiry and lived experience, driven by a commitment to cultural plurality and intersectional dialogue. These projects often explore the intersection of contemporary aesthetics with themes of cultural pluralism, post-anthropocentrism, and neoutopian thinking. My work is research-driven, collaborative, and grounded in an ongoing dialogue between contemporary art and broader cultural realities.
